TPO Board Approves Funds for Sidewalks and Intersections

The North Florida TPO Board approved funding for projects under the Surface Transportation and Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Programs at its July meeting.  These federal funding sources help manage congestion, improve air quality and make driving alternatives more attractive. 

Clay County

  • US 17 at Governor’s Creek Bridge Sidewalk - ($800,000 FY 2018/19 - 2019/20)
  • CR 220 from SR 21 to Henley Road - ($500,000 FY 2018/19)

Duval County

  • SR 115 Arlington Expressway/Cesery Boulevard Bridge Sidewalk - ($740,000 FY 2018/19)
  • SR 115 Southside Boulevard at Gate Parkway – ($7.66M FY 2018/19 – 2022/23)
  • SR Southside Boulevard at Deerwood Park Boulevard - ($6.31M FY 2018/19 – 2022/23)

Nassau County

  • US 17 from Johnson Lane to SR 200 – ($1M FY 2022/23)

St. Johns County

  • CR 2209 at CR 210 - ($1.75M FY 2018/19 – 2022/23)
