Mass transit is an integral part of our transportation system, providing options for those who can't or don't want to drive every day, while reducing congestion and auto emissions.
Public transit services in Duval County are provided by the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA). JTA provides bus, shuttle, trolley, Skyway and paratransit services.
Transit services for other counties are offered primarily through the respective county’s Council on Aging. JTA works with these organizations to coordinate transit services to and from Duval County.
