The 2045 Long Range Transportation Plan was approved November 14, 2019.

Summary Report

Living in a hurricane-prone region, we’re accustomed to thinking about evacuation routes as part of transportation planning.

The 2045 LRTP considers vulnerability of our communities and the need for resilient infrastructure in light of sea level rise, inland stormwater and river flooding, and storm surge.

Goals, objectives and performance measures incorporate climate risk in project planning, system preservation and maintenance.
